SiVEC Biotechnologies is a Fort Collins-based startup developing BactPac, a next-generation bacterial platform for the manufacture and delivery of biotherapeutics. Our team combines expertise in microbiology, molecular genetics, and gene therapy to overcome long-standing challenges in targeted delivery of nucleic acid and protein therapeutics. Current R&D programs span oncology, gene therapy, and precision cell-level delivery, supported by a growing intellectual-property portfolio and a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
We are seeking scientists at multiple levels (I–III) to help advance BactPac-based therapeutics, including our pan-RAS-targeting therapeutic SVC-KRAb, toward clinical and commercial readiness. Candidates should bring deep technical expertise in microbiology, molecular or microbial genetics, or eukaryotic cell biology, ideally paired with experience in gene editing, synthetic biology, or bacterial engineering. We are especially seeking applicants with extensive in vivo experience. SiVEC offers competitive compensation ($75,000–$135,000, depending on level), equity participation, and 401(k) matching in a fast-moving, high-impact environment where every team member contributes directly to shaping the future of therapeutic delivery.
